Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Assistant/Quantity Surveyor position (as well as other vacancies in KSA) shall be flexible and adaptable.     Role Summary

    Assist the Commercial and projects team by providing support in commercial activities by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for the Fit-out operations.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Perform the commercial activities (viz. contractual documentation and writing) 
    • Preparation and tracking of variation submittals
    • Preparation of progress billing
    • Check Bill of quantities (BOQs) against the drawings to raise claims and assist the Project manager (PM) with cost monitoring and controlling
    • Assist in collecting and processing of additional orders from suppliers for the active projects
    • Ensure compliance with the commercial framework
    • Capability to carry out QS function, BOQ preparation, management, and measurement activities etc

    Personal qualities

    We are looking for a versatile Assistant/Quantity Surveyor in KSA who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

    Skills Required:

    The essential skills required for this purpose are as follows:

    • The candidate should have a minimum of five to Eight year’s experience with reputable fit-out contracting companies in the Middle East
    • Experience in Post-tender analysis, preparing bills of quantities, Cost managing live projects
    • Procurement Activities
    • Subcontract analysis and final account settlements
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment
    • Needs to communicate effectively with project teams and co-workers
    • Demonstrable understanding of the KSA supply chain and a well-developed knowledge of the regional material suppliers
    • Experience negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Strong teamwork and analytical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, work under pressure with challenging deadlines while delivering high quality results
    • Must have good computer skills. Should be familiar with MS office tools and experienced with financial procurement and inventory management software
