Even though our KSA office is located in Riyadh, we work on different projects all across the country. Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Projects Manager position (as well as other vacancies in KSA) shall be flexible and adaptable. Role Summary
Working independently, the PM will execute fit-out projects for Successful track record of working on all types of projects. e.g. Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc. The PM will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination and management of multiple projects by leading multi-disciplinary teams including subcontractors through project activities to meet client requirements and complete projects successfully, safely, within quality, within budget and on-time.
Duties and responsibilities
Pre contract
- Work towards creation and execution of business development strategy in line with the business goals of the company
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Supervising the end to end process of tendering function
Project Planning
- Identify stakeholders and plan communications
- Develop project management plan and schedule
- Ensure activities are clearly defined to all stake holders
- Plan procurement in line with project schedule
- Identify risks and plan risk management and responses
Project Execution
- Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selecting of project sub-contractors
- Will interface with Project team to share best practice and ensure effective resource (labour, materials and equipment) utilization
- Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process
- Maintaining accurate records as construction progress throughout the projects
- Responsible for overview of the construction sites, and management of vendors and trades
- Analyze and share regular updates on the site operations with the relevant stakeholders
- Maintain good communication between the Clients at all times
- Direct and manage project execution ensuring all works are properly monitored co-ordinated and controlled
- Acquire, develop and manage the project team
- Conduct and administer procurement in line with project schedule
- Distribute project information to relevant stakeholders
- Perform quality assurance and control throughout the life of the project
- Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for the operation and handover of the project in line with the project schedule
- Verify and control any changes in scope and costs
- Control project invoicing and final accounting
- Monitor and control risks
Personal qualities
We are looking for a versatile Projects Manager in KSA who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:
- Minimum of 10-12 years similar experience in an interior fit-out contracting company
- At least 6-7 years’ experience of managing teams of people, preferably on multi-site projects
- Ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award of project through the different stages of implementation, up to handover stage
- Very strong technical, execution and commercial abilities with sound knowledge of the woodworking business particularly the technical aspects relating to joinery and good manufacturing practices of timber, veneers, hardware, etc
- Proven track record as a successful PM in a fit-out contracting business
- Good knowledge of the KSA market Preferred (i.e. the network of clients, sub-contractors and suppliers)
- Successful track record of working on these type of projects. e.g. Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education etc
- A very good knowledge of latest developments in the fit-out market. The candidate should be well-versed with the current trends and news influencing market and be able to suggest ideas to boost the Company’s industry presence and build our brand
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment
