Even though our KSA office is located in Riyadh, we work on different projects all across the country. Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Logistics Officer position (as well as other vacancies in KSA) shall be flexible and adaptable. Role Summary:
Create and follow schedule for the material/product being shipped or being received and maintain an accurate data of the whole process, to ensure the smooth supply chain operation.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor the overall process of packing, loading and offloading of the processed Goods
- Ensure proper packing of the final products and stored properly during the transportation, to avoid damages
- Oversee the warehouse operation and organize the packed material by effectively using the limited space
- Ensure accurate labelling /Tag the packed items by following the procedure to avoid wrong deliveries
- Maintain the database and update the transaction on daily basis
- Report any damages during packing, stacking or during transportation
- Prepare necessary shipment / transportation documents
- Schedule and implement the shipment activities by prioritizing to ensure the timely delivery
- If necessary negotiate with transportation company for the best deals
- Provide timely update to the Head of Logistics about the dispatch status of the goods
- Ensure the compliances and safety procedures are been followed during overall process
- Coordinate with Transportation companies, production team and warehouse to facilitate smooth transaction
- Anticipate and analyse problems in different areas in logistics and offer suggestion for feasible solution
Personal qualities
The ideal candidate for the Logistics Officer role has the following skills, personal qualities and experiences:
- Bachelors in Material Management, Business Administration or equivalent courses with 3- 5 years of GCC Experience
- Action Oriented
- Teamwork & Detail Oriented
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity and responsibility
- Knowledge of applicable government regulations, computer skills
