We managed the turnkey fit-out for LOCAL, successfully uniting a coffee shop, barbershop, and unique retail offerings under one roof.

The new beachfront development, Mamsha Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, serves as the perfect backdrop for the latest branch of the homegrown concept store, LOCAL. This ambitious model required interiors that create a cohesive concept while respecting the individuality of each business pillar.

Our team worked closely with shell+core, who further developed the interior design from the original LOCAL branch at Al Zeina Complex, adding beach vibes and fresh elements

We transformed these ideas into reality, handling special features and installations as well as all MEP and HVAC works. Key highlights include the distinctive corrugated glass façade of the serving counter and the timber louver bulkhead above it. The glazed steel frame enclosure for the grooming area serves as a clever “greenhouse,” integrating the barbershop into the loft-style concept of LOCAL. As we look ahead, we’re excited to see how the brand evolves, especially with potential expansion in the works.
