Empire Cinemas, a beloved Lebanese brand celebrating its 100th anniversary, has transformed the cinematic experience in Saudi Arabia since its 2019 debut in Jizan. We proudly partnered with Empire to deliver five turnkey fit outs, including a major project at Al Rashid Mall in Al Khobar and multiplexes in Al Ahsa, Rabwa, and Madina, enriching the region's entertainment landscape.

We delivered five successful turnkey fit outs for Empire Cinemas across Saudi Arabia, a well-loved Lebanese brand redefining the cinematic experience.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Empire Cinemas made a significant entrance into the Saudi market in 2019 with its first theatre in Jizan. Following the positive response to this initial 10-screen project, we were entrusted with a more ambitious and complex undertaking at Al Rashid Mall in Al Khobar, aimed at elevating the cinematic experience for audiences in the region.

In 2021, after successfully completing projects in Jizan and Al Khobar, we partnered with Empire Cinemas once again to deliver three additional multiplexes: one at Othaim Mall in Al Ahsa, another in Rabwa, Riyadh, and a third at Al Rashid Mega Mall in Madina.

Empire Cinemas – Turnkey Entertainment Fit out

Each project was conceptualised by Empire Cinemas’ long-standing design partner, DNA Architects & Planners, with our skilled team handling the fit out.

For the Al Khobar project, we executed a comprehensive scope that included 18 theatres, catering to diverse audience preferences. This included three dedicated kids' auditoria, two state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos movie theatres, three VIP screens for a premium experience, and one immersive 4DX cinema, all spread over a total area of 6,214 sqm.

All millworks were supplied from our factory in Askar, Bahrain, ensuring consistent quality, while acoustic finishes were sourced globally to enhance the auditory experience. We're proud to have brought these vibrant cinema spaces to life across five cities in Saudi Arabia, contributing to the region's expanding entertainment landscape.
